Treasure out of trash: Incubator space available in E17

FRP loading bay is soon available for a creative environmentally-minded soul, who wants to join us in our quest for a greener future for our community.

We rescue paint from recycling centers, clean it, remix it and sell it to beautify Walthamstow and beyond. Many of us are volunteers; all of us are committed to a world where less is wasted and more is reclaimed and reused.

We are looking for someone who is setting up a project in the circular economy and have roots in E17. Perhaps you weave rugs from discarded plastic shopping bags; perhaps you make art from used computer parts. Ideally, you use and promote our re-claimed paint in your product-development.

Whatever your project is, you – like us – seek to make treasures out of trash.

We offer:

  • 6 months of space, support and friendship
  • A charming work space of about 10 m2 (you are very welcome to paint it) at the FRP paint place at 2c Bakers Avenue in Walthamstow
  • Access to outside area
  • Opportunity for product display in our store
  • Support to develop a business and marketing plan

The small print: We want you to be part of the FRP family, where we all help each other. That means we are going to ask for a small amount of rent (app. £100 per month, including utilities) plus occasional help with covering the store, not least on Saturdays.

The space is ready 1st April, but please contact us as soon as possible if you are interested. We are very excited to meet you!
