What can you Give or Take?
You can donate anything that is reusable and take anything you need, but please leave something for others!
Bring along unwanted reusable items to donate on the day. If you don’t have anything to bring then just bring yourself and you might find something useful that you need.
Please do give:
- Bric-a-brac
- Books, film & music
- Children’s bikes
- Household goods
- Small pieces of furniture
- Small electrical items
- Plants, garden tools & equipment
- Toys
We do not accept hazardous waste, any form of clothing, mattresses, tyres, children’s car seats, cycle helmets, furniture without a fire safety label, or anything else that cannot be reused.
Why participate?
This event has been organised to help reduce waste and encourage recycling of reusable items and give people who need things the chance to get them for nothing. Why waste something that can be reused? Let’s Give or Take together to create long term social and environmental benefit.
