FRP Paint With Fifty Shades Of Grey

FRP Paint With Fifty Shades Of Grey

For the newly released film; Fifty Shades of Grey, environmental charity; Forest Recycling Project, created various shades of grey finding; as Anastasia Steel would put it “polite, intense, smart, intimidating” greys hiding throughout the warehouse. The “shades” were sold at the Paint Place shop in Walthamstow for an exclusive 50% off 50 shades of grey at the weekend, making Dulux matt paint a staggeringly low £2.50 for 5 litres! With the demand for grey already at a high this year, the event went down as a success.

This was Forest Recycling Project’s adaption of the book; If Sam Taylor-Johnson’s literary adaptation wasn’t for you this event enabled the public to paint walls to avoid the film. Its purpose was to allow the customer to paint at an affordable price. All paints are recycled from over 6 boroughs in North East London. Collected from recycling centres, they are brought back; quality checked and then sold from £1 a litre. All of this helps the environment by stopping unwanted paint going to landfill.
