Forest Recycling Project (FRP) is a not-for-profit, social enterprise with environmental and social aims. We engage with organisations and communities in London through a range of practical initiatives to reduce, re-use and recycle waste. Any financial surpluses are re-invested for that purpose, in the business or in the community. Based in Walthamstow in East London, we have been in operation since 1989. Our legal structure is a charity and limited company by guarantee. FRP has a staff team of 7 people.
‘Being a Trustee of FRP is an incredibly rewarding role: important projects helping to improve the environment, fantastic volunteers and a great staff team. It is definitely time well spent and has improved my skills and experience too.’ Matthew Mckeague, FRP Trustee.
