Forest Recycling Project

"RECYCLING FOR THE COMMUNITY"

Community Re>paint Waltham Forest

is a scheme to collect left-over paint for re-use by voluntary organisations, charities and community groups.

Why Re-use Paint?

Most people do some home decorating and have spare paint stored in their cellar, garage or garden shed for later use. When you have a clear-out you may find paint which you no longer need. Discarded paint:

Rather than throwing it away as rubbish, Community Re>paint Waltham Forest collects usable paint for redistribution to community groups throughout the London Borough of Waltham Forest

Who Re-uses The Paint?

The collected paint is taken to a central Re>paint store and sorted into different types and colours ready for distribution and re-use.

Paint is available free of charge to community groups, charities and voluntary organisations for use related to their activities. Paint may also be redistributed through Social Services and other public agencies for use by individuals in genuine need.

How To Apply For Paint?

Paint is available free of charge to local voluntary and community groups.

It is also available to individuals in need if they are referred by an organisation. So if you work for a group in Waltham Forest and know of service users who would benefit from this project then contact us about how to apply. Call Forest Recycling Project on 020 8539 3856.
