FRP Projects

Paper Collection services

FRP collects office waste paper for recycling from within the London Boroughs of Waltham Forest and adjoining areas. For Central London, click on http://www.paper-round.co.uk

Why recycle paper?

By recycling your paper you are doing your bit for the environment by reducing waste (so that less landfill sites or incinerators are needed), and decreasing the use of energy, water and chemicals in the paper manufacturing process. It also helps support our economy and increase employment in Britain by reducing imports. So its not just about saving trees - even in managed plantations where trees are replaced, they are likely to be fast growing species planted where they would not naturally grow, supporting very little wildlife.

What can FRP collect?

FRP collects the following types of paper, kept separate:

  • White photocopy, letterhead, laser print out
  • Coloured photocopy, letterhead, laser print out

    Rates:

If you are in either Leyton or Lea Bridge wards the rates are reduced by 50%. You are also entitled to a free Environmental Audit (see Green Office for more info).
