"RECYCLING FOR THE COMMUNITY"

Forest Recycling Project (FRP) is a not-for-profit community business, which works in the London Borough of Waltham Forest and surrounding areas. For community recyclers in other areas, look at http://www.crn.org.uk

FRP was established in October 1989 to encourage environmental awareness and to help create a sustainable society by providing a range of recycling services for the local community.

Our services include:-

events known as Give or Take Days
computer recycling : ReUse-IT@FRP
collection of office-grade waste paper and other recyclable items from businesses and voluntary organisations and a confidential shredding service
supply of recycled paper products and fair trade goods
advice and assistance to community and voluntary groups in Waltham Forest who want to get involved with recycling and re-use projects
a free information service on all aspects of recycling
talks and presentations to schools on recycling

We also have a big stock of donated files, folders, box folders, envelopes, paper and other office bits and pieces which are free to whoever wants them.

FRP has three paid employees and approximately 20 volunteers, including a management committee. FRP is situated in beautiful downtown Walthamstow.
