Forest Recycling Project (FRP) is an innovative community business promoting social and environmental justice through practical initiatives to reuse, recycle and reduce waste in East and North London. We are entering into an exciting phase of development as we expand our reuse activity through involvement in the London Reuse Network, roll out our successful paint reuse model across London, explore new ways of working with Local Authorities and Housing Associations, and extend our recycling services to more local businesses.

FRP is seeking to recruit a General Manager to lead the company and take it forward. We are looking for an innovative and highly motivated individual to oversee the day-to-day running of the organisation and lead the on-going development of FRP as a dynamic grassroots social enterprise delivering cutting edge community resource management solutions.

Major tasks will include:

  • Ensuring financial sustainability of reuse and recycling initiatives
  • Creating new opportunities and delivering new and expanded services
  • Managing and supporting a committed and enthusiastic team of staff and volunteers
