"RECYCLING FOR THE COMMUNITY"

Advice and Assistance to Community and Voluntary Groups in Waltham Forest who want to get involved or start a project on recycling and re-use.

FRP has built up expertise over a period of many years (established in 1989) and we are able to help groups or organisations who would like to set up their own recycling project or just want to know how they can be more environmentally friendly.

How we can help?

Examples of the sort of advice and assistance we can give:

carrying out a waste audit
organising a workshop on waste
involving the community in recycling and re-use
having a display at a local event
giving a presentation to a local group
ideas on recycling and re-use

Local Agenda 21

FRP is also involved in the Waltham Forest Local Agenda 21 "Waste Minimisation and Recycling Focus Group" which meets once a month to look at waste issues. The group has drawn up its own "Action Plan" and regularly undertakes activities to promote recycling and reuse. Click here for further information on Local Agenda 21 in Waltham Forest
